Kamar McKnight added 16 in a 79-55 loss at Mount St. Mary's on Friday night at Knott Arena.

- Koby Thomas made 7-of-11 field goals and both of his 3-point attempts to finish with a team-high 17 points. He also pulled down six rebounds and was credited with three steals.
- Kamar McKnight finished with 16 points and matched Dejuan Clayton with a team-high seven rebounds while Andrew Robinson was the other Eagles player in double figures with 13 points.
- Mount St. Mary's got 49 combined points and 11 3-pointers from Jalen Gibbs (27) and Vado Morse (22). The Mount made 45.6% of its field goals and 14-of-30 (46.7%) from deep.
How it Happened
- The Mount got out to an early 9-0 lead with three 3-pointers, one each by three different Mountaineers.
- Kamar McKnight got Coppin on the board with a layup at the 17:01 mark but the hosts extended their lead to double digits.
- After a dunk by Koby Thomas cut the deficit to 19-11 with 10:46 to go in the first, the Mount went on a 9-0 run to take its largest lead at 28-11 with 8:36 to go.
- A three by Andrew Robinson ended the scoreless drought as CSU closed to within 37-27 at the half with another three by Robinson coming with 33 ticks remaining in the period.
- Mount St. Mary's made 50% of its shots in the first half and 9-of-17 from distance compared to just 37.9% for CSU who made 4-of-14 from deep.
- Coppin pulled with within seven points at the 15:31 and 11:32 marks on the second period on dunks by Brendan Medley-Bacon and Thomas, respectively, but Mount St. Mary's pulled away, outscoring CSU, 26-13 over the final ten minutes of the game.
