HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Coppin State's men's basketball team dropped its second consecutive game of the Collegiate Hoops Roadshow, 82-70 at Northern Kentucky on Sunday afternoon at BB&T Arena.

How it Happened
- Coppin's Koby Thomas put the Eagles on top, 2-1 with a breakaway layup after a steal at the 18:04 mark but the Norse scored six-straight to go back up, 7-2 with 16:57 remaining.
- The Eagles got to within 10-9 after buckets by Andrew Robinson and Dejuan Clayton along with a three by Kamar McKnight with 14:43 left.
- Northern Kentucky scored 16 of the next 22 points to extend its lead to as many as 26-15 with 7:15 to go in the half, but CSU scored seven-straight and closed to as little as 29-26 with just under three minutes left after another three by McKnight.
- The Norse went into halftime with a 34-28 lead while making 8-of-20 shots from behind-the-arc.
- NKU quickly extended its lead to double figures in the second half with the closest Coppin getting was at 43-38 after back-to-back threes by Clayton and McKnight at the 16:35 and 15:55 marks, respectively.
- The hosts largest lead came at 14 points.
Inside the Numbers
- Kamar McKnight led three Eagles in double figures with 18 points to go with four rebounds while Dejuan Clayton added 15 points and four rebounds as well.
- Koby Thomas recorded a season-high 14 points and finished a rebound shy of a double-double with nine along with two steals.
- Andrew Robinson chipped in with nine points, Brendan Medley-Bacon finished with six points, five rebounds and a pair of blocks. Ibn Williams totaled five points and Aaron Robinson recorded three points and six rebounds.
- Coppin shot just 39.4% from the field and 5-of-26 (19.2%) from deep compared to 47.6% and 14-of-35 (40.0%) for the Norse.
