DURHAM, N.C. – Aaron Lewis won the 110m hurdles at the Duke University Invitational to highlight the Coppin State men's track & field's weekend.
Lewis ran the fastest time in the prelims and then won the final in 14.14. Lewis also anchored the 4x100m Relay to a 6
th place finish in 41.17.
Several other Eagles ran impressive times over the weekend with
Babadeji Balogun leading CSU in both the 100m and 200m Dash in times of 10.95 and 22.00, respectively.
Devin Teagle finished just behind in the 100m Dash in 10.96.
Anija Addison had an impressive double, completing the 400m Dash in 49.11 and the 800m in 1:53.45, just behind
Mark London's 1:53.10.
Cheyenne Johnson also took 10
th overall in the 400m hurdles in 53.78.
In field events,
Elijah Noel leaped 43' 0.25" in the triple jump while
Balvin Richards recorded a toss of 45' 3.5" in the shot put.
The Eagles will return to the track on April 26-28 when they compete at the historic Penn Relays.
