Women’s Cross Country Finishes Fifth at Cappy Anderson Invite

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Coppin State women's cross country took fifth-place on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Cappy Anderson Cross Country Invitational.
 
Freshman Tatiana Ogundeko led the Eagles, earning 9th place overall with a time of 20:37.70. She was followed by freshman Cionne Gourrier (20:51.60) in 12th place, sophomore Lunnise Gibson (21:54.70) in 20th and freshman Eriell Wallace (25:47.97) who placed 42nd.
 
Freshman TreJ Johnson posted a fourth place finish for the Eagles with a time of 26:26.35 at 44th and freshman Aidan Alston rounded out the top-five Coppin State finishers with a 51st place finish at 28:32.46.
 
The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Delaware State Invitational in Smyrna, Del.
