BALTIMORE- Four Coppin State bowlers finished in the top 20 at the final Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division meet of the season on February 27-28. Maryland-Eastern Shore hosted the meet at Millsboro Lanes in Millsboro, DE.

The Lady Eagles went 0-8 in four traditional and four baker style matches.

Jasmine Newman led the Lady Eagles with 541 total pins in four traditional games. She averaged a 135.25 pinfall and scored a team weekend best of 157 against Delaware State.

She finished 14th overall at the meet.

Freshman Eric Monk placed 15th overall with a 127.00 total pinfall average. Monk collected 508 total pins and bowled a weekend high 153 against Howard.

Shawdae Frederick compiled a season high average pinfall of 124.25 for the meet. She tallied 497 total pins and a meet best 138 against Morgan State.

She finished 16th overall.

Brionca Beard finished 20th at the event with 433 total pins. She averaged 108.25 toal pinfall and scored her weekend high 125 against Morgan State.

Ashley Milo finished with 349 total pins with a weekend best of 109 against Maryland Eastern Shore.

The Lady Eagles will return to action next weekend for the MEAC Championship Tournament in Chesapeake, VA at AMF Bowling Lanes on March 25-27.Â
