Daniel soared a career best and school record 1.84 meters (6 feet, .5 inches) last week at the Nelson P. Townsend Invitational hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore. Her mark of 1.84 is the third-best clearance nationally in the high jump. It was the second time this season, Daniel has cleared at least six feet. She sailed 1.83 meters on Jan. 19 at Winston-Salem. Daniel has been consistently near six feet all indoor season while winning every high jump event she has competed in.
