Keith Shivers was a force on the defensive end of the court, routinely applying the Eagles with tough on the ball defense. The Coppin State men's basketball team won its third consecutive Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game with a 73-68 victory over the North Carolina A&T. Shivers tallied 16 points and three rebounds on 6-of-11 accuracy from the field in 38 minutes.
