Anderson Burgess tossed his first complete game of the 2015 season by striking out seven batters in leading the Eagles to a 6-1 victory over UMES on Saturday. He threw 126 pitches and kept the Hawks hitters off-balanced throughout the game,
 
"I was out there making pitches and trying to give my team a chance," Burgess said. "I wasn't trying to do anything fancy. I wanted to attack the zone with fastball, go in-and-out and let my defense work for me. They did a great job today and my catcher (William Brown) called a great game. This win was a total team effort and I just thank God for the opportunity to pitch here."
