Omaah Tayong was named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week and MEAC Player of the Week. She shot 59-percent from the floor (13-of-22) against UMBC and Towson. She scored 14 of her career-high 16 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Lady Eagles to their first win over Towson since 2010. Defensively, Tayong totaled 19 rebounds, one block and one steal in the two games. She registered 13 boards, with 12 points, in a loss to UMBC.
