Sophomore Steven Thomas won the men’s weight throw event with a measure of 16.12 meters at the UMES Coach O Collegiate Invitational hosted by University of Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday, January 7, 2017. . Thomas also competed in the men’s shot put event and was the runner-up measuring at 15.03 meters.
