Biography

2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 15 matches and played a total of 27 sets. She finished with 85 assists and had 33 digs. Torres averaged 3.15 assists and 1.22 digs per set. Notched a career best 32 assists, 13 digs and three service aces during a 3-1 win over North Carolina Central (Oct. 18). Torres also had 18 assists against Cal State-Northridge (Sept. 20).
 
High School: Attended Spring High School in Spring, Texas…Lettered in volleyball and track and field at Spring… Earned District 13 5-A All-District Honorable Mention honors as a senior…She also was named to the All-District 13 5-A All-Academic First Team last season…Placed fourth in the dicus throw in the regional meet and established a school record.
