She had a season-high 30 digs along with six assists against Florida A&M in a 3-2 win in the MEAC semifinals. Otero had a stretch in which she recorded at least 20 digs in four straight matches: 25 against Towson (Sept. 3), 25 against George Mason (Sept. 6), 29 against Princeton (Sept. 7) and 20 against Temple (Sept. 7). She had 23 digs against Bethune-Cookman in the MEAC quarterfinals. In the three MEAC tournament games, Otero had 71 digs. Had a stretch during the season in which she notched double-digit digs in 17 straight games from Sept. 1-Oct. 11.
