2018 (Junior): 2^nd Team All-MEAC… Played in all 40 games with 38 starts primarily at designated player while seeing significant time at first base… Hit .339 with nine doubles, three home runs and 29 runs batted in.  Drew 12 walks while ranking among the nation’s toughest to strikeout… Slugged .492 and led the team with a .410 on-base percentage… Recorded eighth multi-hit games with four games with at least three hits… Also had five multi-RBI games and a team-best 9-game hit streak and 13 game reached base safely streak… Went 3-for-4 with a walk-off home run against St. Peters’s (3/4)... Drove in 6 runs and also doubled and walked in that game against the Peahens… Went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and a walk in finale vs Hampton (4/22)… In 13-inning, MEAC Tournament game against Hampton, went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI (5/10).

Cayla's career ambition is to become a high school math teacher. In high school she played softball, volleyball and basketball. There, she was academic most outstanding studetn (2012-2015), thirs team all-state (2013), all conference (2012-2015) and softball MVP (2013-2015).
