BALTIMORE – Coppin State head men's and women's golf coach
Elam Ruff has unveiled the inaugural 2026-27 season schedules for both programs on Friday afternoon.
"These schedules represent an important milestone for our program," said Ruff. "Our student-athletes will have the opportunity to compete, grow, and help establish the foundation of Coppin State Golf. We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our university, build meaningful relationships throughout the collegiate golf community, and begin creating a tradition of excellence both on and off the course."
Men's Schedule
The inaugural season kicks off for the Eagles in Mississippi for Jackson State's TheelLove Invitational on September 6-8. The Eagles will be off the following week off before competing in back-to-back weeks at Mercyhurst's Laker Fall Invite (Sep. 20-21) and the Ironwood Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina on September 28-29. Coppin will play in Chicago State's Maurice Allen Intercollegiate Championship on October 5-6, named for the World Long Drive Championship, before wrapping up the Fall at the Fripp Island Intercollegiate, hosted by USC Upstate.
The Spring semester kicks off at Charleston Southern's Rivertowne Invitational on February 8-9 and the Eagles will take just over a month off before returning to the links at the Sacred Heart Spring Break Invite in Fleming Island, Fla., on March 15-16. Binghamton and Iona will host the Eagles in nearby Tournaments on March 20-21 and March 26-27, respectively, before Coppin closes the season at North Carolina Central's Robinson Invitational on April 5-6.
