BALTIMORE, MD.- Despite a first half lead and a 17 point performance from Malik Battle accompanied by balanced attack from the Eagles, Coppin State Men's Basketball team fell short to Delaware State on Saturday afternoon at home with a final score of 66-56. Coppin is now 1-7 in conference play while Delaware State advances to a record of 4-4.

Four-time MEAC Rookie of the Week Ryan Archey scored nine points and matched a team high with two steals.
