PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Coppin State's men's & women's cross country teams were both in action on Saturday at The Shore XC Invite and were led by
Amadou Ba and
Jahmei Wyatt.
Ba finished the Men's 8K in 28:41.9 to place 16
th overall and he was followed by
Jayeed Norbal (33:17.1),
Amiri Goode (33:37.7),
Jervonne Agard (37:22.7) and
Randy Serville (37:26.6).
In the Women's 5K, Wyatt placed 23
rd overall in 20:57.7 with
Salomay Agyei clocking a 22:36.8. Freshman
Brianna Benton followed in 23:11.9 with the Eagles' top five rounded out by
Kaelyn Woodrum (26:29.6) and
Destinee Mcleod (31:31.5).
The Eagles return to action on Friday, October 7 for the DSU Farm Invitational in Smyrna, Del.
