Caten, Celestine Named to George Mason Invitational All-Tournament Team

FAIRFAX, Va. – Coppin State's Paola Caten and Jordan Celestine were named to the George Mason Invitational All-Tournament Team, it was announced at the conclusion of the Tournament on Saturday night.
 
Caten finished with 37 kills on .200 hitting while recording 42 digs as the Eagles went 1-2 for the Tournament.  A junior from Tampa, Fla., Caten opened the weekend with a double-double 18 kills and 16 digs while hitting .273 in a heartbreaking five-set loss to Robert Morris.  Caten was credited with eight kills and 18 digs in Saturday's opener against UNC Greensboro before going for 11 kills and eight digs in a sweep over George Mason.
 
Caten ranks second on Coppin with 96 kills (2.82/set) and 12 aces and is third in both digs (3.06/set) and blocks (15).
 
Over the weekend, Celestine hit .242, recording 27 kills and seven blocks. After tallying 12 kills on .280 hitting to go with three blocks against Robert Morris, Celestine added seven kills and two blocks against the Spartans and eight more kills with two blocks against the Patriots.
 
A native of Stockbridge, Ga., Celestine leads the Eagles with 33 blocks and is one shy of 200 in her career.  Celestine ranks third on the Eagles with 67 kills while hitting .182.
