NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Coppin State's bowling team was one of a record 59 programs to earn the 2020-21 National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Team Award, it was announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon. The honor was bestowed upon teams that accumulated a cumulative Team GPA of at least 3.20 for the academic year.
Additionally, five Eagles were named NTCA All-Academic Selections in graduate student
Mya Hamlett, senior
Jazzleen McRae, junior
Kaylah Castillo, sophomore
Sydney Tyler and freshman
Logan Brown. Athletes must have recorded at least a 3.40 GPA for the academic year to earn All-Academic accolades.
The Eagles finished 9-28 on the season with three victories coming against nationally ranked teams.
