Aliyah Lawson led all players with 16 points, with a season-high five made three-pointers.
Alexandria Hamilton and
Jewel Watkins scored 12 points each. Hamilton had a game-high in free-throws made, with an efficient 6-of-7 from the line. Watkins hit three three-pointers and was the second leader in rebounds, with six.
Colleen Bucknor had a game high 10 rebounds and two blocks.
Mossi Staples led the Eagles in assists (five) and steals (three) along with seven points.
Jalynda Salley shot a team high 43 percent from the field to finish the game with six points and five rebounds.

A Second Team All-MEAC selection last season,
Aliyah Lawson finished second in the conference with 14.5 points per game while ranking third with 38 3-point field goals. A native of Whitby, Ontario, Canada, Lawson also finished with 4.5 rebounds per game to go with 24 assists and 17 steals. Lawson received three MEAC Player of the Week awards, scored at least 20 points in four games and reached double figures in 12 games.
Lawson scored a career-high 27 points with five 3-pointers to go with a career-high 12 rebounds for her first-ever double-double against Morgan State. In her two seasons at Coppin, Lawson ranked sixth in CSU history in 3-point field goals (84) and free throw percentage (72.4%).
Jalynda Salley received Third Team All-MEAC and All-Defensive Team honors last season after averaging 9.3 points per game while ranking fourth in the MEAC in rebounds (8.8) and seventh in blocks (18). A native of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Salley led the conference with 4.1 offensive rebounds per game which ranked 18th nationally. In MEAC games, Salley averaged 10.0 points and 9.6 rebounds with a pair of double doubles.
Salley has recorded 84 career blocks which moves her to seventh in CSU history.

Scouting Winthrop
The Eagles defeated Claflin 62-56 on December 12. J'Mani Infram scored a career-high 21 points, was 9-15 with six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Myra Strickland scored 15 points, five rebounds and a career-high seven assists.
Ingram is averaging 11.3 points a game. Strickland is averaging 11.0 points with 24 rebounds and leads the team in steals (12). Sierra Hunter leads the team in rebounds (46). Leonor Paisana leads in assists (32).
