Khila Morris will be two of forty athletes who will be participating in the historic HBCU Allstar Dream Classic on August 8 at historic Rucker Park. A native of Bronx, N.Y., Morris was a First Team All-MEAC selection as well as the league's Newcomer of the Year and three-time MEAC Player of the Week. Morris led the Eagles in points (13.1) and steals (54) while adding 4.3 rebounds per game, 93 assists and 16 blocks. In MEAC play, Morris upped her production to 14.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.0 steals.
Morris ranked fourth in the league in points and field goal percentage (42.0) while placing fifth in assists (2.9), sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (33.3), ninth in steals and first in minutes (35.4). Scoring in double figures in 23 games, Morris was arguably the top all-around player in the MEAC with at least 20 points in five games, including a 26-point and 13-rebound performance at Delaware State where she hit the game-winner in the closing seconds.
After a pair of junior college seasons at Union College in New Jersey, Morris played a season at Troy, helping the Trojans to a WNIT Title Game appearance in 2025 before transferring to Coppin for her final collegiate season. In two seasons at the Division I level, Morris scored 567 points in 69 games (8.2) along with 208 rebounds (3.0 rpg), 152 assists (2.2 apg), 78 steals (1.1 spg) and 18 blocks. Morris shot 43.8% from the floor, 32.2% from deep and 73.1% from the line.
McBride, who is originally from Richmond, Va, led the Eagles with 115 assists and 43 3-pointers while ranking second in points (8.9) and steals (51) while adding 3.7 rebounds per game and 10 blocks. Her 81.9 percent free throw percentage on 127 attempts was the second-best in the MEAC. In conference play, McBride amplified her performance up to 10.7 points while providing her team with 3.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 28 steals. McBride was also on the MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team.
In her final collegiate season, McBride recorded at least four assists in 18 games, with her highest coming against William & Mary where she dished out a career-high eight assists. She also recorded seven assists against SMU. In addition, McBride scored a season-high 20 points against Georgia and scored 17 points against nationally ranked Oklahoma.
Appearing in 93 career games at the NCAA Division I level, McBride totaled 574 points with nearly 300 rebounds to go with 237 assists and 138 steals. Hitting 203 free throws, she shot 76 percent from the line.
