BALTIMORE- Coppin State's bowling team wrapped up the weekend hosting the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational with a fourth-place finish.
The Eagles went 4-6 finishing with 8,340 total pins after 50 games.
Coppin's
Logan Brown finished in third place after totaling 982 after five games averaging 196.40. Her third-place finish landed her on the All-Tournament Team. She was also awarded the high game of the tournament with a 244.
On Saturday's traditional rounds, the Eagles scored 878, 802, 802, 885, and 838.
On Sunday's Baker rounds, Coppin first bowled against Virginia State winning 875-580. Then, fell to Wagner 870-799. Game three saw Coppin facing Caldwell and falling to a score of 888-811. Game four, the Eagles defeated Kutztown 872-837. Then Kutztown won the last round 882-778.
Temira White finished in seventh with a score of 910 and
Tavera Johnson came in ninth with a score of 896.Â
Jalyne Myers finished in the top 30 scoring a 797, while
Lynn Porter bowled a 387 and
Abigail Weiss bowled a 233 over a five-game total.
The Eagles will be back in action in the new year at the James Brown Invitational on February 11-13.
