Bowling Finishes Sixth in MEAC Meet #1

BALTIMORE – Coppin State's bowling team wrapped up the weekend competing in the MEAC Meet #1, hosted by Morgan State at the Woodlawn AMF Lanes on November 13-14.
 
On Saturday, Coppin went 2-3 defeating Howard and UAB. To begin the opening baker rounds on Saturday, Coppin took on Howard winning 890-759. Then defeated UAB 861-803.
CSU fell to Delaware State (989-798) in the third round, then North Carolina A&T State (1,027-867) in the fourth. To finish out the night Morgan State defeated the Eagles 982-814.
 
On Sunday, Coppin went 1-3 after defeating Norfolk State 930-864. The Eagles opened the day against Maryland Eastern Shore (920-913) and Monmouth (894-835). To close out the afternoon Coppin had a bye, and the Eagles bowled an 847.
 
Coppin will return to the lanes on November 20-21 hosting the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational at the AMF Woodlawn Lanes in Gwynn Oak, Maryland.
