Suggest New Name For Our Eagles Mascot

Attention Eagles Fans!

Later this year, Coppin State Athletics will re-introduce the Eagles mascot, which will be one of the most fan-friendly and entertaining mascots in the Country. However, our mascot cannot be truly great until it receives a great new name. Coppin State Athletics wants the help of our friends and fans to name our Eagles mascot.

Starting September 28, nominations are being accepted for the new name of the Coppin State Eagles mascot via the Coppin State Athletics website, as well as social media.  Entries must be submitted by October 9. 

Coppin State's Department of Athletics will choose five finalists from the pool of all submitted entries. 

What's in a Name?
Use your imagination and do your research! Our Coppin State Eagle needs to have a creative, fun name symbolizing the spirit and tradition of Coppin State University and the City of Baltimore. Our mascot will represent the entire Coppin State community; it will be strong, loud, proud, energetic, tenacious, fearless and visionary.
