BALTIMORE – Coppin State bowling head coach Shaunita Middleton picked up her first commit for the 2020-21 season as Logan Brown (Waldorf, Md. / Westlake HS) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Eagles.

"Logan is a natural born athlete that accepts nothing less than what she deems as excellence on the lanes," said Middleton. "She has grown to be a proven competitor on the lanes with a passion for the game. I am thrilled to have her and her tenacity in our program.  She will come in and hit the lanes rolling, making an immediate impact with her skillset as we continue to build a championship-level team."

A right-hander out of Waldorf, Md., Brown won the 2019 Paul Goodwin Youth Tournament as well as both the Scratch and Handicap NCAUSBCA Vern Burke Tournaments in 2018.  Brown is also an honor roll student at Westlake High School in Waldorf.

CSU returns to the lanes on February 1-2 at the Bowl for the Kure Tournament held at Jay Lanes in Douglassville, Pa.
