Giir Ring scored a career-high 13 points and four Eagles scored in double figures in a 91-60 loss at Miami (Fla.) on Saturday afternoon at the Watsco Center.

- Sophomore Giir Ring made 3-of-6 shots from distance and 4-of-6 from the free throw line to finish with a career-high 13 points. His previous career-best was six points and he came into today's game with just three points this season and 24 in his career.
- Koby Thomas notched his third-straight double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.
- Ibn Williams added 11 points while Dejuan Clayton was also in double figures with ten points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

How it Happened
- Miami scored the first nine points of the game before Andrew Robinson got Coppin on the board with a three with 14:37 to go in the first.
- The Hurricanes scored another ten-straight to go up 19-3 but Reggie James snapped the spurt with a driving layup and made the free throw at the 10:05 mark.
- James' three-point play sparked a 10-2 CSU run which included a pair of buckets by Dejuan Clayton and a three by Giir Ring.
- Now leading, 21-13, Miami went on another long run to extend its advantage to 19 points with 4:05 to play, but Coppin pulled to within 34-20 at the half as Koby Thomas slammed home a pair of dunks in the closing minutes of the stanza.
- The 14-point margin was as close as Coppin got the remainder of the way as the hosts opened the second on a 13-2 run and made 58.1% of its shots in the period.
