BALTIMORE – Coppin State University's Department of Athletics announced Monday that general admission tickets for the Eagles' women's basketball home opener against Saint Peter's University on Friday, November 15 are now sold out, with tipoff scheduled for 11:00 am.
The 'Public Schools Youth Day Game' generated mass interest from several elementary and middle schools in the Baltimore area and is part of a kickoff for American Education Week, which is set for November 18-22. Over 25 different schools and 3,400 students registered for the free event which will include a meet & greet and autograph sessions with Eagles players and coaches immediately following the game.
In addition to the over 3,400 students and teachers, a number of dignitaries, elected officials and several candidates who have declared for the 2020 Baltimore mayoral election, are expected to be in attendance.
