Chance Graham won her third MEAC Defensive Player of the Week Award of the season and fifth of her career, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. She has received the honor for the weeks of November 20 and December 4 in 2018-19, while picking up the accolade twice during her sophomore campaign in 2017-18.
Graham was named to the Hilton Garden Inn FGCU Classic All-Tournament Team while averaging 20 points, 12 rebounds and three steals in matchups with Florida Gulf Coast and Alabama-Birmingham last week. In the first game of the Classic against the host Florida Gulf Coast, she picked up her seventh double-double of the season with 18 points and 15 rebounds to go along with a steal. The second and final game versus UAB saw the six-foot junior drop 22 points while pulling down 9 boards and tying her career-high with five steals.
