- Virginia guard Dominique Toussant made a 25-footer to send the game to the first media timeout, 7-7.
- The first quarter concluded with Virginia on a 7-2 run to make it 14-9 at the quarter break.

- Four points for the Cavaliers to one for the Eagles take the two sides into the media timeout, 21-13 UVA.
- The Cavaliers used a 7-0 surge to end the half and take a 28-16 advantage to the locker room.
Third Quarter
- Virginia's Shakyna Payne put an exclamation point on the first half of the third quarter, converting an and-one down low as the Hoos held a 18-point edge with 4:53 left, 39-21 UVA.
- Graham remained on fire from deep knocking down two more three-balls (her fourth of the contest) to narrow the gap to 15, 42-27 Virginia.

- Graham eclipsed her season-high point total of 17 with 2:42 remaining, finishing the third quarter with 18.

Inside the Numbers
- Salley made her presence known on both sides of the ball, coming up a bucket short of her first career double-double, but set season-highs in rebounds (12) and points (8) in the process.
- Graham was not her usual dominant self on the glass (8 rebounds) but was able to counter that with a season-high 21 points and was a force from three-point territory, setting a new high watermark of five threes.
- Burroughs' squad had a clean contest, only losing seven turnovers on the day, the fewest by far in 2018-19.
- The Cavaliers had two girls exceed the double-digit point threshold, as Dominique Toussaint (14) and Khyasia Caldwell (11) were the pacesetters.
- UVA shot an impressive 40% from the court (21-52) and pulled down an even 50 rebounds.
- Jocelyn Willoughby was the lone Wahoo to grab double-figure boards with 14.
