2018-19 (Sophomore): Played in all 30 games and made 22 starts while seeing 26.5 minutes of playing time… Averaged 5.7 points and 2.1 rebounds while finishing second on the team with 56 assists… Also credited with four blocks and 27 steals… Made 51-of-163 (31.3%) field goal, 19-of-75 (25.3%) 3-pointers and 49-of-71 (69.0%) free throws… Reached double figures in eight games, including a career-high 18 points on 5-of-7 shooting, 4-of-5 from deep and 4-of-4 from the stripe against Delaware State (2/25)… Also dished out four assists against the Hornets… Recorded multiple assists in 17 games with four dimes in five games… Had one of her best all-around games in a win over Florida A&M where she scored ten points and also added a career-high five steals along with a block, two assists and four rebounds… Scored 13 points at Old Dominion (12/29) and against Bethune-Cookman (1/28)… Sunk 7-of-8 free throws at Ohio and scored 12 points with three rebounds and three assists (12/8).

2017-18 (Freshman): Named MEAC Rookie of the Week the second week of the season… season high of 15 points against SC State… Season high of 5 assists against Bethune-Cookman…averaged 8.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists per game… Averaged 31.8 minutes per game… started 24 games and played 27 games… Scored in double figures 12 times…. Game high of 4 3-point field goals made against VCU…

Maraiyah's career ambition is to become a detective.  In high school, she played tennis, basketball and volleyball.  There, she was a 2A State Finalist (2014). She won the county, regional and state championships (2017).
