PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Coppin State (4-16, 4-4) concludes their two game road trip at Maryland Eastern Shore (9-10, 3-5) on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. Coppin State leads the overall series, 35-26, with the Eagles winning nine of the last ten games but lost the last game at The Shore on January 31, 2015 (66-58). Last season Coppin State picked up a 61-54 victory on Jan. 20, 2016 inside the Physical Education Complex.

Olowaseun Adeniji scored a career-high 11 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds in a 78-54 road MEAC loss for the Eagles to Hampton on Monday. Two Eagles finished in double figure scoring paced by
Genesis Lucas' team-high 13 points, three assists and three rebounds. Lucas went 2-for-3 from three-point range and 5-for-8 from the free-throw line. Adeniji led the bench scoring with a career-night scoring 11 points on 4-of-7 shots from the field and three free-throws. She was key for the Eagles in the first half with a team-high six points. GRAHAM EARNS FOURTH MEAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK ACCOLADE
Chance Graham was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week, announced on Monday, January 30. This is the third consecutive week that she has won the award and it is her fourth overall this season. Graham averaged 9.0 points and 13.0 rebounds as the Eagles went 1-1 last week. She recorded her second double-double of the season – 10 points, 10 rebounds – against Morgan State, and she tied her season high with 16 boards against Norfolk State. For the Eagles she was the top rebounder in 15 games, top shot blocker in seven games and has had seven double-digit rebounding performances so far this season.
ON THE ROAD
Coppin State has compiled a 1-14 record in road and neutral-site games. Their lone win was a 70-62 victory at Florida A&M on Jan. 7, 2017. The Eagles are 1-3 in MEAC road games this season.

- Genesis Lucas ranks in the MEAC top-10 in seven different categories;
- eighth in the conference in scoring (12.4), second in assists (4.2), third in steals (2.4), fifth in free-throw percentage (.758), third in steals (2.4), third in assist/turnover ratio (0.7), 12th in three-point field goal percentage (.294) and tenth in minutes played (33.5) per game.
- Keena Samuels ranks 10th in scoring (12.2), 15th in field goal percentage (.337), eighth in free-throw percentage (.750) and sixth in steals (1.9).
- Tiara Goode is 26th in scoring (9.3) and sixth in three-point field goals made per game (1.8).
- Chance Graham is fifth in rebounding (8.3), 15th in blocked shots (0.7), second in offensive rebounds (3.6) and seventh in defensive rebounds (4.7).
- Oluwaseun Adeniji is 11th in blocked shots (0.7).
ALL-TIME ASSISTS
Genesis Lucas is currently tied for fourth place in school history in career assist totals with 283. As a sophomore she dished out 130 and as a freshman 82. Now in her third season she has 71 thus far, just passing then No. 5 Talia Sutton (278) while currently tying Sesalie Johnson at 283. Shalamar Oakley is next on the list at No. 3 with 326 career assists and
Amber Griffin is second all-time at 370.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Maryland Eastern Shore is 2-3 at home this season with a 0-3 MEAC record. The Hawks downed the top team in the conference Hampton (68-65) in their last game on the road. The Hawks bench led the way with Mariah McCoy recording a game-high 18 points and Tori Morris scoring 14 points. McCoy leads the MEAC in three-point field goal percentage (.450) and ranks 18
th in scoring (10.5) while Keyera Eaton (9.9) ranks 22
nd and Moengaroa Subritzky is tied for 24
th in scoring at 9.8 points per game.
