Eagles WBB Prepares For Clash With Rival Morgan State

Coppin State (3-15, 3-3) returns to action at home on Saturday, Jan. 28, against rival Morgan State University (2-17, 0-6). Game time at the PEC is slated for 2 p.m. (ET). The Eagles have lost 3 of their last 6 meeting against Morgan State winning the final two out of three games last season. The Eagles eliminated the Bears 63-53 in the quarterfinals round of the MEAC Women's Basketball Tournament in their last meeting on Mar. 10, 2016.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Chance Graham tied a season-high rebounding effort pulling down 16 boards in a loss to Norfolk State on Monday. Graduate Tiara Goode scored a team-high nine points hitting three three-pointers while junior Oluwaseun Adeniji finished with a career-high six points leading the Eagles bench scoring, junior Candice Beverly also scored six points with a career-high two blocks and senior Keena Samuels had six points.
 
GRAHAM LEADS EAGLES REBOUNDING EFFORT
In the last three games Chance Graham is averaging 15.3 rebounds and 10.3 points against MEAC opponents NC A&T, Howard and Norfolk State. She tied a season-high twice in the last two weeks recording 16 rebounds in back-to-back games against the Bison and Spartans.

Genesis Lucas climbs up to sixth in school history in career assist totals with 276. As a sophomore she dished out 130 and as a freshman 82. Now in her third season she has 64 thus far, passing then No. 7 Rashida Suber (272). Up next on the list is No. 5 Talia Sutton (278) and No. 4 Sesalie Johnson (283)
