MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Junior
Bailee Jackson had her first double-double of the season with 16 kills and ten digs leading the Eagles against Robert Morris in a 4-1 (25-17, 25-18, 15-25, 25-19) loss on Saturday, September 3 at the Sewall Center.
In their first of two matches on Saturday the Eagles (0-6) offense put together 44 kills on a .151 attack percentage against the Colonials (3-2). Two Eagles had double-doubles with three finishing with double-digit digs.

Dominique Madarang both had strong performances. Jackson posted 16 kills and ten digs while Madarang had 33 assists with a team-high 14 digs. This was Madarang's second game of the season with a double-double.
Junior
Glorines Rosado was the other Eagle to net double figures on the defensive end. Rosado had 12 digs finishing a match for the fourth time this season with double digit digs. Coppin State collected 58 digs and six blocks. Freshman
Kennedy Curtis protected the interior with two solo blocks and two assisted blocks.
After falling in the first two sets the Eagles rebounded and took the fourth set (25-15). Junior
Guro Froberg recorded six of CSU's 13 kills and freshman
Kennedy Curtis defended the net with two solo blocks and two kills. Coppin State controlled the momentum forcing Robert Morris into nine errors while and winning the battle of the kills (13-10).
Facing elimination in the fourth set, Jackson anchored a Coppin State attack with seven kills. The Eagles offense produced a game-high 14 kills, but Robert Morris went on to close out the match (25-19) with 15 kills and one error.
Guro Froberg had 11 kills with eight digs and freshman
Asia Stennis added eight kills with seven digs.
