BALTIMORE, Md. – Thirty-four Coppin State University scholar-athletes graduated at the 116
th Commencement Ceremony, which was recently held in the Physical Education Complex Arena on Saturday, May, 21, 2016.
Seven Eagles earned "with the greatest honor" Summa Cum Laude, four were honored "with high honors" Magna Cum Laude, and two were recognized "with honor" to cum laude status. The executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans, David J. Johns, delivered the keynote address.
