Box Score BALTIMORE- The Coppin State men's basketball team dropped a 71-67 decision to the Delaware State Hornets Monday night February 15 in the Physical Education Complex.

The Coppin State Eagles (6-19, 4-8) had four players score in double figures..

Terry Harris Jr., led the Eagles with 18 points and eight rebounds. He added an assist and a steal in 38 minutes of game action.

Harris went 8-of-11 from the foul line.

Trevon Seymore scored 11 points for Coppin State. He had nine rebounds, six assists and three steal, all teak highs.

Seymore knocked down five of his seven free throws in 37 minutes on the floor.

Joshua Treadwell tallied 10 points, eight rebounds and one steal in 28 minutes. Treadwell shot 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.

Junior
Christian Kessee finished with 10 points also. He added four rebounds, two assists, and a steal on 40 minutes.

Kessee led the Eagles with two made 3-point field goals.

James Sylvester led the Eagles with eight points off the bench.

Lucian Brownlee added six points, while knocking down two of his four 3-pointers.

Lawrence Fejokwu was a defensive presence on the court. He score four points and grabbed five rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench for the Eagles.

Coppin State outrebounded Delaware State 42-28 while forcing the Hornets into 15 turnovers.

Aric Dickerson led Delaware State (6-10, 4-7) with 13 points off the bench. DeAndre Haywood finished with 13 points and four assists.

The Coppin State Lady Eagles will continue its home stand with a matchup against North Carolina Central on Thursday February 18. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. in the Physical Education Complex.
