His homer was the fourth consecutive one hit by a Coppin State player that either tied or gave the Eagles a lead. In his last 13 plate appearances over three games, Dragon has nine hits for a .692 average.

Darien Percell extended his hitting streak to five games with a single and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third inning that pulled the Eagles to within, 4-3. William Brown also had a hit and a RBI for Coppin State (1-16 overall)

The Eagles collected 10 walks as a team. It was the second time this season the patient Eagles finished with double digit walks in a game this season. Over their last three games, the Eagles have drawn 28 bases on balls.

Later in the game, the pitching combination of Chris Estrada and Chris Vasquez allowed one run over three innings.
