BALTIMORE- After back-to-back Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) home games, the Coppin State men's basketball team will head on the road to Manhattan, KS to face BIG 12 opponent Kansas State in Bramlage Coliseum.

Coppin State (2-5, 0-2 MEAC) will play six of its next seven games away from the Physical Education Complex.

Terry Harris, Jr., leads Coppin State in scoring and rebounding. Harris, Jr., is putting in 12.4 points and grabbing 8.4 rebounds per game. He is tied for first in the MEAC in rebounding and has scored in double digits in five games this season.

Junior guard
Christian Kessee is adding 11.6 points per contest. His 14 made 3-point field goals lead the team. Kessee has five games this season making 2 or more 3-pointers.

Keith Shivers has been playing great basketball in recent games. He is averaging 13.4 points over the last for contests. He has four consecutive double figure games in that stretch.

James Sylvester and
Joshua Treadwell have been strong contributors off the bench.
Sylvester is averaging 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He leads the MEAC in 3-point field goal percentage (52.6) and is second on the team in made 3-pointers with 10.

Treadwell scored a career high 22 points in a setback to Hampton. He has five double digit scoring game on the season and is helping Coppin State win the battle of the benches against opponents this season.

Trevon Seymore is been contributing is all categories as he is adding 7.9 points, 3.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and a team leading 10 steals. Seymore is sixth in the MEAC in assists.

Kansas State (6-1) has won two of its last three games led by Justin Edwards' 14.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Dean Wade is adding 12.6 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Wildcats.

The Eagles will continue their road trip with a trip to the Bronx for a matchup against Fordham University Sunday December 13 for a 1:00 p.m. tipoff in the Rose Hill Gym. Â
