Trevon Seymore scored a career high 22 points in the Eagles 102-77 setback loss to the Creighton Bluejays Monday night at CenturyLink Center Omaha in Omaha, NE.

Seymore torched the Bluejays for 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field, including 3-of-6 accuracy from 3-point range and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

He added five rebounds and three assists in a team high 35 minutes of game action. It was Seymore's first time scoring 20 or more points in a game with the Coppin State. He leads the Eagles in assists and steals.

Keith Shivers chipped in 10 points, four rebounds and a team best four assists for the Eagles. Shiver shot 4-of-5 form the field, while going 2-of-3 from long distance.

Shivers has led Coppin State in assists in its last two contests.

Joshua Treadwell and
Lucian Brownlee carried the Eagles scoring load off the bench.

Treadwell finished with eight points, three rebounds and two steals. He shot 2-of-4 from the 3-point line.

Brownlee added eight points on 3-of-6 accuracy from the floor and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc.

Terry Harris, Jr., also scored eight points while adding two assists and two rebounds.

The Creighton Bluejay (9-4) scored 100+ points in consecutive games for the first time since 1965.

Geoffrey Groselle led the way with 16 points and nine rebounds. Khyri Thomas added 10 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
