Coppin State back on the Road to face Creighton

BALTIMORE- The Coppin State men's basketball team is headed back on the road to face the Creighton University Bluejays at CenturlLink Arena Omaha in Omaha, NE. The game is scheduled for a 9:15 p.m. ET tipoff and can bee seen on the Fox Sports 1 Network.
 
Coppin State (2-11, 0-2 MEAC) leads the all-time series against Creighton 1-0, with the Eagles winning the last meeting 66-60 on November 27, 1989.
 
The Eagles have three players currently scoring in double figures.
 
Junior forward Terry Harris, Jr., leads CSU in scoring (12.8) and rebounding (6.4). Harris, Jr., is tied for 31st nationally with five double doubles on the season.
 
He is eighth in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in rebounding and offensive rebounding (2.4). Harris, Jr., has eight double-digit scoring games this season.
 
Christian Kessee leads the Eagles with 24 made 3-pointers on the season. Kessee is scoring on an 11.7 point per game clip. He is averaging over two made 3-point field goals per contest (2.4).
 
Kessee has started every game so far this year and has scored in 10 or more points in nine games this season.
 
James Sylvester leads all scorers off the bench with 10.8 points per game. He is adding 4.4 rebounds while shooting 48.5% accuracy from 3-point range.
 
Sylvester is second in the MEAC in 3-point field goal percentage and fourth in the MEAC in offensive rebounding (2.6). He leads the Eagles with 32 offensive rebounds. Sylvester is second on the team with 16 made 3-pointers.
 
Junior Trevon Seymore is averaging 8.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game on a team high 29.2 minutes of game action. He is eighth in the MEAC is assists per game.
 
Through the Eagles last three contests Seymore is averaging 11.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals on 13-of-14 shooting from the free throw line. He is sixth in the MEAC in steals per contest. Seymore leads CSU with 18 steals on the season.
 
Joshuas Treadwell is contributing 9.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game off the bench. He is eighth in the MEAC in free throw percentage at (82.1%) accuracy. He has sunk 11 of his last 12 shots from the charity stripe.
 
Treadwell has seven double figure scoring games this season.
 
Meanwhile the Creighton Bluejays (8-4) are 3-3 in its last six games.
 
Maurice Watson, Jr., leads the Bluejays with 12.7 points and 6.3 assists per game. Geoffrey Groselle is chipping in 11.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest.
 
Coppin State will complete the 2015 calendar year on the road when it squares off against #4 ranked Iowa State in the Sukup Basketball Complex in Ames, Iowa on December 30 scheduled for a 8:00 p.m. ET tipoff.
