During his time at Coppin State, Knox made a difference and had a meaningful impact with his energetic personality, professionalism, passionate approach to storytelling and his love of student-athletes.

Among some of Knox's accomplishments at Coppin State was bringing increased national visibility to its athletic programs as it was featured in NCAA Champion magazine, had its good deeds tweeted to 1.3 million followers by the official NCAA website and had many feature stories appear on the front page of the Baltimore Sun. His biggest highlight is redesigning the athletics website and partnering with SIDEARM Sports.

Knox also enjoyed some professional success in 2015 as he was inducted into The Lincoln University Athletics Hall of Fame, named third-vice president of the College Sports Information Directors Association of America (CoSIDA) and selected to participate in the NCAA Leadership Institute.

"We are grateful for Rob's contributions during his time here at Coppin State," Interim Director of Athletics Alecia Shields-Gadson said. "We were fortunate to have one of the best in the business working with our student-athletes and programs. It goes without saying that he'll truly be missed by many here. We are excited and happy for Rob's professional growth and wish him continued success."
