Meanwhile, Smith made at least two three-pointers for the fifth straight game, led the Eagles with six rebounds, handed out five assists and made four steals. A LOOK AT EASTERN MICHIGANComing off of its second road win of the 2014-15 campaign, a 77-65 win at Missouri State University, Dec. 20, the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team looks to pick up its 10th win of the year. The nine wins ties the most non-conference wins in a single season since the Green and White entered the Mid-American Conference. In the last two seasons, EMU is 10-0 in non-conference games versus mid-major programs. Leading the Eagles in scoring this season are Raven Lee (14.6 ppg.) and Karrington Ward (14.8, 7.0 rebounds per game). Mike Talley scores at a 9.7 point per game clip for the Eagles, who allow 57.6 points per game. Eastern Michigan shot a blistering 51 percent from the floor in its win over Missouri State. Ward led the Eagles with 18 points. The Eagles two losses this season were to Dayton and Michigan State on the road.

BRICKHOUSE ON FIREDaquan Brickhouse is 11-for-17 shooting in his last two games against Connecticut and Michigan. He is averaging 13 points per game. He scored 16 points against UConn and finished with 10 points against Michigan. He is also 14-for-15 from free throw line this season (93.3 percent).
THREE FOR ALLCoppin State has made at least nine 3-pointers in a game seven times this season, including Monday night at Michigan. The Eagles lead the MEAC and are 10th nationally in 3-pointers made per game (9.5). Coppin State made a season-best 15 3-points against Goldey-Beacom and UConn. The Eagles also made 12 3-pointers against Oregon and Towson. Coppin State is sixth nationally in 3-pointers attempted (328). The Eagles have attempted at least 30 3-pointers six times this season, including in their last two games. Coppin State has made a 3-pointer in 139 consecutive games.
STERLING BEGINNING TO STIRSterling Smith has scored in double figures in five of his last six games, including a season-high 16 points against Towson on Wed. Dec. 3. He has scored in double figures six times this season. For the season he is averaging 8.5 points per game and he's one of two CSU players with 18 3-pointers on the seaosn, good for second on the team. He has led the Eagles in rebounding and scoring three times this season, including at Michigan (11 points, six rebounds).
