Biography

Career: Coppin’s all-time leader in kills (1,742) which ranked third all-time in the MEAC, and first since the NCAA adopted the 25-point scoring format in 2008… Also ranked first in school-history in total points (1,925.0), which is second all-time in the MEAC, and attack attempts (5,103) while sitting fifth in both digs (1,046) and blocks (185)… Only CSU player with 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs… Led the MEAC in total kills in three seasons while ranking second in her other two seasons.

2022 (Graduate): First Team All-MEAC… 1x MEAC Player of the Week… Aggie-Spartan Invitational All-Tournament Team… Received President’s Eagle Award for second-straight season, becoming just second athlete in CSU history to receive the award twice… Led the MEAC in total kills (355) while ranking second in total points (402.0) while ranking first on the squad with 2.75 kills/set… Hit .176 for the season on 1,140 total attacks… Third on the team with 283 digs (2.19/set) and fifth with 49 blocks (0.38/set)… Also credited with 20 aces and eight assists… Ranked second in the league with nine double-doubles…  In MEAC play, ranked eighth with 2.60 kills/set and 10th in both digs/set (2.40) and points/set (2.98)… Recorded double-digit kills in 18 matches, including a season-high 20 kills against NC Central along with 17 digs and a pair of blocks (9/25)… Posted a double-double 18 kills and ten digs in season opening win at North Carolina A&T (8/26)… Tallied 18 kills and season-high three aces in MEAC Semifinal victory over Maryland Eastern Shore (11/19)… notched double-doubles at UNC Greensboro where he hit .300 with 17 kills, 11 digs and season-high six blocks (8/27) and Loyola Maryland where she recorded 14 kills with no errors on 35 swings to hit .400 along with 15 digs… Hit an errorless .500 with 11 kills on 22 swings in win at George Washington (9/13)… Posted a .688 hitting percentage with 11 kills and no errors vs. South Carolina State in MEAC Quarterfinals (11/18)… Finished with career-high 25 digs in win against NC central (10/23)… Had multiple aces in five matches and multiple blocks in 13 matches, upping that total to five blocks in five matches… Credited with double-digit digs 13 times.

2021 (Senior): AVCA All-America Honorable Mention… VolleyballMag.com All-America Honorable Mention... AVCA All-East Region Honorable Mention… MEAC Player of the Year… All-MEAC First Team… Two-time MEAC Player of the Week... 2020-21 (Junior): 1st Team All-MEAC… MEAC All-Tournament Team… 5x MEAC Player of the Week… Appeared in 15 matches and 58 sets for the Eagles at outside hitter… Led the Eagles and MEAC with 191 total kills and her 3.29 kills per set ranked 3rd in the MEAC… Hit .176 for the season while finishing second on the team with 20 aces, third with 27 blocks and 4th with 115 digs (1.98 per set)… Notched three double-doubles… Recorded double digit kills in 11 matches and had at least ten digs in four matches… Credited with multiple aces in four matches and multiple blocks in 11 contests… Opened the season with 15 kills while hitting .220 with a season-high five aces and eight digs at George Mason (1/30)… Recorded 14 kills in back-to-back matches at Temple where he finished with nine digs (2/5) and against Villanova where he added five digs (2/11)… Swung for 13 kills in a three-set match at UMBC (2/21)… In sweep over Howard, recorded nine kills with five aces, five digs and three blocks (3/5)… Notched a double-double with 19 kills and 11 digs at Morgan State (3/11)… Followed with 17 kills and ten digs at Delaware State (3/18)… Season-high 21 kills and 14 digs while hitting a whopping .321 in regular season finale against Morgan State (3/22)… Recorded 14 kills with seven digs and three blocks in MEAC Semifinal against NC Central (4/2)… Credited with seven kills, three aces, 12 digs and a pair of blocks in MEAC Championship against North Carolina A&T (4/3).

2019 (Sophomore): First Team All-MEAC… Finished second in the MEAC with 406 total kills and 3.59 kills per set and third with 3.99 points per set… In conference matches, ranked second in the MEAC with 203 kills and 3.69 per set while sitting third with 4.17 points per set.  Hit .176 for the season while recording 219 digs (1.94 per set), 37 total blocks (0.33 per set) and 25 service aces (0.22 per set)… Finished with double-digit kills in 23 matches with three matches over 20 kills… Had nine double-doubles on the season… Recorded a season-high 24 kills at Florida A&M while hitting .313 to go with eight digs… Notched a double-double with 23 kills and 12 digs in win over Siena… Also had a double-double with 21 kills and 13 digs against Fairleigh Dickinson… Credited with a season-high 16 digs along with 12 kills at UMBC… Had multiple blocks in 12 matches, including a season-high four against North Carolina A&T, where she also had a double-double 19 kills and 12 digs… Served multiple aces in nine matches, including a season-high four against Howard where she was also credited with 15 kills and 11 digs.

2018 (Freshman): MEAC Rookie of the Year… 2nd Team All-MEAC… MEAC All-Rookie TeamCharm City Classic All-Tournament Team...
