2020 (Junior): First Team Preseason All-MEAC… Appeared in eight games while starting in five and hit .167 (2-for-16) with two runs scored… Also stole a base… Recorded hits against Chattanooga and Campbell while scoring a run in the first game against Charleston Southern… Also scored in nightcap against Saint Peter’s.

2018 (Freshman): 2^nd Team All-MEAC…6x MEAC Rookie of the Week (3/4, 3/19, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 5/7) which was tops in the conference … Started in 38 of the 39 games she played in… Led team with a .364 batting average (7^th in MEAC), 44 hits, two triples, a school-record 11 home runs (3^rd in MEAC), 37 RBI (4^th in MEAC) and a .727 slugging percentage (3^rd in MEAC)… Also recorded seven doubles and was a perfect 5-for-5 on steals… Six of her home runs came in conference play as she hit .345 in the MEAC with 14 RBI… Team-High 14 multi-hit games, including four three-hit games, as well as 10 multi-RBI games, with five games tallying at least three… Drove in three runs with her first three-hit game against Saint Peter’s (3/4)… First career home run came against Omaha (3/8) as she finished 2-for-3 with four RBI to go with a double and a walk… Slugged a pair of home runs and drove in four in game one at Norfolk State (3/17)… Had another two homer day in series opener against MD Eastern Shore (3/27)… Also homered at Rider (4/5), vs. Howard in game two (4/6), at Drexel in game two (4/12), game one vs. Hampton (4/21), at Saint Peter’s in game one (5/3), and in the MEAC Tournament against eventual conference champion Bethune-Cookman (5/9).

In high school Nia played softball. There, she was a leader on the varsity team (2014-2017), state champion (2016-2017) and academic all-conference (2014-2015).
