2020 (Junior): Started in all nine games and hit .300 (6-for-20) with two runs, a double and two RBI… Slugged .350 and recorded a .481 on-base percentage while drawing six walks, was hit by a pitch and also stole a base… Collected a base hit against Campbell in only official at bat before belting a pair of hits and scored a run in the second game against Charleston Southern… Had a hit and scored a run in game one at UMBC… Had a hit in each game vs. Saint Peter’s including a double and an RBI in the opener.

2018 (Freshman): Started in 26 of the 29 games she appeared in, seeing time at first base and designated player.  Hit .224 with a double and six RBI to go with nine walks… In MEAC play, hit .281 with four RBI and five walks… Recorded a pair of hits in series opener against Hampton (4/21)… RBI single and walked twice against Maryland Eastern Shore (3/27)… Made one appearance in the pitcher’s circle, allowing eight runs in 2.1 innings of work at Delaware State (3/31).

Sydney's career ambition is to become a kindergarten teacher. In high school she played softball, basketball and volleyball. There, she was softball honorable mention, second team all area (2013-2014), second team all-conference (2014-2015) and first team all area (2015-2017).
