Biography

2015 (Junior): Played in all 36 games and made 35 starts…stood third on the team with 15 walks…had a .122 batting average…tallied 10 hits and eight runs…batted in four runs…had three multi-hit games…hit her only homerun of the season against North Carolina A&T (Feb. 13)…hit a double against Delaware State (Apr. 12).

2014 (Sophomore): Was named to the All-MEAC Softball Academic Team and to the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team. She made 34 starts in 38 games. She finished with 11 hits and scored 12 runs during the year. Her best game of the season was a two-hit effort that produced three RBIs in the first game of a doubleheader against Bowie State on March 12. She scored two runs in each game of a doubleheader against Bowie State. Rogers also had two hits against Mount St. Mary’s on March 15. She scored runs in both games of a doubleheader sweep against Morgan State on May 3. She helped the Eagles qualify for the MEAC tournament for the fifth straight season.

2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 25 games and made 20 starts…finished with nine hits and five runs…tallied five RBIs…earned a three-game hitting streak…best game was against Siena March 14 where she had a run, hit, and RBI on a .222 batting average.

High School: Attended Uxbridge High School in Uxbridge, Mass….lettered in softball and basketball at Uxbridge…won four letters in softball and three in basketball…helped lead Uxbridge to a league championship in 2010…was chosen as a first team all-star in 2012…was named second team all-star in 2011.
 
Personal: Born on June 9, in Milford, Mass….daughter of Jim and Michelle Rogers…elementary education major…was a member of the National Honor Society and the honor roll at Uxbridge High School.
