Biography

2015 (Junior): Had 32 starts in 34 appearances…finished with a .139 batting average…posted 11 hits and five runs…earned six RBIs…had three doubles…tallied three multi-hit games…her best performance was against UMES (Apr. 1) with two runs, two hits and two RBIs.

2014 (Sophomore): Played in 40 games and finished with a .225 batting average. She had four multi-hit games (Norfolk State, Howard, Delaware State and Hampton). Brown had 23 hits and was tied for fourth on the team with 16 runs batted in. She slammed a pair of home runs this season, a three-run shot against Norfolk State (March 23) and a solo home run against Morgan State (May 3). She had five doubles, including two against Howard on April 5. Brown hit .270 (10-for-37) with runners in scoring position. She ended the season by reaching base in seven straight games. She helped the Eagles qualify for the MEAC tournament for the fifth straight season.

2013 (Freshman): Played in 40 games and started in 36…recorded a team-best 19 RBIs…had a .270 batting average…tallied 14 runs and 24 hits…had a five-game hitting streak that earned six hits…reached base eight consecutive times…had five multiple hit games for 13 hits…earned four multiple RBI games…best performance came against UMES March 29 where she had 3 RBIs, two hits, and a run.

High School: Attended Westlake High School in Waldorf, Md…played shortstop and third base…was first team all-county and was elected to the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference All-Star game.
