2017-18: Made All-MEAC 3^rd Team…Season high of 30 points against UCONN and Howard on two separate occasions…. Season high of 10 field goals made, and 8 3-point field goals made against Hampton University… Season high of 11 rebounds against Rutgers… Season high of 5 steals against Howard… Started and played all 32 games of the season averaging 31.1 minutes per game… Performed a double-double against SC State with 16 points and 10 rebounds…  Led the team in 3-point field goals made with 88… led the team in scoring averaging 12.3 points per game… Averaged 12.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game… scored in double figure in 16 games… Scored over 20 points on 3 occasions…

Lamar's career ambition is to become a computer engineer.  In high school, he played basketball and was named All-County and All- South Jersey. Prior to Coppin State University he earned a degree in Pre-Engineering at Mineral Area College. There, he was an Academic All-American (2015-2016) and was named 1st Team All-Conference (2016-2017). His team was ranked #9 in the country.
