2015 (Junior): Named to the All-MEAC first team and College Sports Madness All-MEAC second team…started in all 36 games…led the team in hits (37) and runs (29)…made a team-high 103 appearances at-bat…was second on the team in batting average (.359), slugging percentage (.583) and on-base percentage (.455)…hit six doubles and a team-best five homeruns…stood third with 15 RBIs…posted a career-high and team-best 16-game hitting streak (Mar. 25-Apr. 23)…was batting .520, had 26 hits and 21 runs during her streak…topped the team with 11 multi-hit games, including nine games with at least two hits…had four multiple RBI games…tallied a team-best 85 assists…hit .320 or better in the last 15 games…had her best performance against Delaware State (Apr. 12) with three hits, three RBIs and a run…during the series against DSU, she had a .857 batting average and was perfect at the plate in the final game, going 2-for-2 with three walks.

2014 (Sophomore): Was named to the All-MEAC Softball Academic Team and to the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team. Played in 26 games before suffering a season-ending injury against Delaware State. Smith finished with a .297 average and had 22 hits. For the season, Smith had a .373 on-base percentage and a .365 slugging percentage. She also scored 17 runs. Smith had four multi-hit games including her only three-hit effort against Elon on March 1. Smith smacked her only double of the season against Howard on April 5. She also had two triples during the season, one each against Bowie State on March 12 and Howard on April 5. Smith scored at least two runs in at least four games. Her longest hitting streak of the season was seven games (April 2-9). She ended the season by reaching base in 11 straight games. She helped the Eagles qualify for the MEAC tournament for the fifth straight season.

2013 (Freshman): Started in all 41 games...led the team in runs (36) and hits (48)…set the school record for hits by a freshman…earned a .336 batting average…tallied 17 RBIs…topped the Eagles with 11 multiple hit games for a total of 30 hits…had a team-best 10-game hitting streak with 15 hits...reached base 10 consecutive times…led the team with 143 appearances at-bat…had four multiple RBI games…best performance was against St. Peter’s March 2 with three runs, two RBIs, and three hits. 

High School: Attended Rising Sun High School in Rising Sun, Md….played second base…was named to the All-Cecil County team in 2010 and 2012.
