Kenyange Kaounde better known as KK, is a sophomore from Bowie, Maryland. Kenyange's academic pursuits have led her to major in Chemistry.

A 2022 graduate Of Bowie High School. KK earned the coveted title of MVP and reached the State singles finals in 2021. Kenyange's tennis journey extends beyond high school, as she participated in junior tennis tournaments, including reaching the ATA Consolation Finals in 2021.

Kenyange's family background has played a pivotal role in shaping her tennis journey. Her parents, immigrants from Uganda, have been a constant source of inspiration and support. Tennis runs in the family, as Kenyange's older brother is also an accomplished player, competing at Morgan State University.

As a member of the Coppin State University tennis team, Kenyange aspires to create a sense of family among her teammates. She is committed to giving her all every time she steps on the court, pouring her best energy into his teammates and receiving their support in return.
