2020 (Senior): 1x MEAC Player of the Week… First Team Preseason All-MEAC at First Base... Only CSU player to start in all 13 games, seeing time at first base and designated hitter… Hit .348 (16-for-46) with 10 runs, five doubles, two home runs and eight RBI… Slugged .587, recorded a .474 on-base percentage and drew nine walks… Tallied five multi-hit games and a pair of multi-RBI games… Opened the season with an RBI and a double in back-to-back games at The Citadel and closed with the series with a two hit, two RBI performance… Doubled and scored twice in win at Richmond… Homered and drove in a pair with two hits in win at Georgetown… Doubled and scored twice in victory at Lehigh… Went 3-for-4 with a homer in series opener at UNC Asheville… Finished the season by going 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run at Mount St. Mary’s.

2019 (Junior): First Team All-MEAC at First Base… Three-time MEAC Player of the Week… First Team All-Black College Nines at First Base... Started in all 45 games he appeared in at either first base or designated hitter... Led the conference with a .394 batting average, .493 on-base percentage and .588 slugging percentage… Also finished with 36 runs, 65 hits, 17 doubles, 5 home runs, 43 RBI, 30 walks and 5 sacrifice flies… Drew 12 intentional walks which were in top-ten nationally… Recorded 22 multi-hit games with six games with at least three hits… Also had ten multi-RBI games with three games of at least four runs batted in… During conference action, led the team in every offensive category with a .417 average, 21 runs, 35 hits, 10 doubles, two home runs, 25 RBI, 22 walks and 5 sacrifice flies to go with a .530 on-base percentage and .607 slugging percentage… Made CSU debut in the series finale at Savannah State and went 3-for-5 with two runs and a double… Scored three times and drove in four runs in game two against Albany… Slugged a pair of homers at Charlotte in the series opener before following up with a four-hit game in the second game… Homered and drove in a season-high six RBI in game two against Maryland Eastern Shore… Later in the season, had a four-hit with 2 doubles, 2 rbi effort in series opener against the Hawks and finished 9-for-13 in the finale series against UMES… Drove in four runs with 3 hits in the second game against Mount St. Mary’s.

Prior to Coppin: Two-time All-Region selection at Napa Valley College… As a sophomore in 2018, led the conference with a .406 batting average and .532 on-base percentage while slugging .608… Also led the league with 17 doubles while also recording four home runs, 39 RBI and drawing 36 walks.  In his freshman season in 2017, hit .309 with seven doubles, a home run and 19 RBI while totaling a .378 on-base percentage and .412 slugging percentage.
