Jayden Asencio had the only other hits for Coppin.
Pranav Sundar and
Noah Hogan also reached base on walks.
Luke Corcoran threw the first 3.2 innings and was charged with nine earned runs, followed by
Park Roeder who allowed four runs in 0.2 innings.

Central Connecticut scored three in the first before Corcoran forced three groundouts to get out of the second without any harm. The Blue Devils added two in the third and four in the fourth before Roeder got the final out of the inning.
Clark's RBI single in the fifth cut the deficit to 9-1 as he drove in Asencio from second following his single to start the inning. CCSU responded with four more runs in the fifth before Olson shut the hosts down the rest of the way.
